The Chappaqua Volunteer Ambulance Corps is composed of a remarkable variety of individuals. People of all ages (16 and up), with many careers (from stay-at-home moms, to lawyers, bus drivers and doctors), and a range of interests and backgrounds, are part of this vibrant group.  What they is share a common passion for helping in the community. Our trained volunteers are here to serve 24/7.

Volunteering for an ambulance corps is not for everyone, but those who join us find this a rewarding and sometimes exciting opportunity. We would love to show you who we are and what we do.  Maybe you'll even join the Corps.

CVAC members all participate on their own time, as volunteers.  Whether out of community spirit, a desire to give back, enjoyment of the camaraderie of a shared mission, or even a passion for emergency medicine, CVAC members work to ensure that on any day, at any time, when there is a medical emergency, the ambulance will be there.
